What Customers Say About Blazing Angels:

Perfect game for experienced gamers. But overall I enjoyed it. This game was great yet bad. Awsome grafics but some levels (Midway) for example are to difficult.

But overall a good game. I had to go online to some forums to find some tips to get through several levels. Pretty fun game overall. Can be quite difficult.

I especially loved supporting the D-Day invasion and the liberation of Paris. Maybe when it was 60 dollars I would have given it 4 stars but I still think it would have been very much worth it, but at 20 dollars it's a no brainer. Okay so it isn't going to win any realism awards but I'm having a blast playing this game. Flying in this game is as satisfying a feeling as any flight sim I've ever played and more than most. If you are interested in WW2 and aren't too much of a stickler for realism do yourself a favor and buy this game. Some of the planes suck, but some are just so fun. Very diverse set of missions and objectives that kept me very entertained.

Overall this is a very good multiplayer game; however, if you are looking for a good game to play through a campaign, I urge you to look elsewhere. I have not gotten a chance to play online however. I found myself mostly frustrated with it. Secondly, you are pretty much on your own as your squad mates will do virtually nothing.

The only reason why I gave this game 3 stars is because it has good graphics, sound, and multiplayer modes. The other modes such as co-op dogfight can also be frustrating as the computer puts too many enemy planes in the air at a time. If you enjoy a difficult challenge, this may be the game for you. It is definitely not worth the 30 some dollar price tag after shipping and handling. As for me, playing the game in story mode is not worth the headache. I am all for a challenge, but this game can get very hard.

10 on 2 odds does not provide a fair or fun challenge for the most part. If you are seriously wanting to play the game, I suggest you rent before you buy.-Graphics: ***-Multiplayer: ****-Campaign: **-Overall Gameplay: **-Fun Factor: *** First of all, you cannot pick a level setting, it is automatically on hard and only gets progressively harder as you work through the game. There are several multiplayer modes but the one that is the most fun is the dual.

I have tried about 20 times now to beat it and I'm about to give up.Its not much of a flight sim either. Look, Richard Bong is the american Ace of Aces and he has 40 kills. I am relatively proud of my ability to figure out tough games. I have been hacking away at this game for hours, mostly on the Midway mission that some other reviewers have got stuck on. Usually if you try something three times and it doesn't work then do it differently. Only the greatest pilots in the world became Aces (5 kills) and only several dozen shot down over say twenty. I can't figure out how to do this, For my next attempt I don't think I will aggressively attack, and just see if I can win by actually staying over the airfield.

One or two bombs, maybe eight rockets, and nine-yard belts for the automatic weapons. Its really fun some of the missions but I think the Midway mission is too hard at this point. Nah. Too boring. heh.So is it realistic.

I keep thinking there must be some secret but I haven't found it yet and I seem to lose by a very large amount every time. I had 40 kills after 2 missions, and the Midway mission you are shooting down squadrons of Japanese Naval bombers and LOSING. Most pilots flew 5 or 6 missions before seeing the enemy and average pilots that survived got 2-3 kills their entire career. Still, still waiting for an actual flight sim on a console. An actual flight sim would limit the plane to the actual weapons it could carry. Probably.
